In celebration of Earth Day, the Rotary Club of Birch Run is hosting a drop-off recycling event for unwanted electronics and computers at Marshall Greene Middle School located at 8225 Main Street in Birch Run.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. - Rain or Shine!

Accepted for recycling with a fee of $20:

  • Old-style computer monitors
  • Large flat screen, LCD, LED, and cathode rate tube (CRT) televisions

Accepted for recycling with no fee:

  • Batteries: Nickel Cadmium/Metal Hydride, Alkaline, Lithium Ion, Lead Acid
  • Cellular phones, tablets, & other handheld devices
  • Laptop & desktop computers
  • Keyboards, mice, other electronic computer accessories
  • Printers, copiers, & fax machines
  • DVD/CD players
  • Stereo equipment
  • Small home appliances
  • Miscellaneous cords
  • Lamp fixtures & holiday string lights (no bulbs)
  • Non-PCB ballast

To help offset the costs of hosting this event, monetary donations are accepted but not expected.
