Lew Dodak Serves as Grand Marshall for Independence Day Parade The Birch Run Rotary is honored to have Mr. Lewis (Lew) N. Dodak as the Grand Marshall for this year’s Parade Through Time 4th of July parade. A graduate of Birch Run High School, he was raised on a family farm in Taymouth Township, where he learned the values of responsibility and resourcefulness.

10th Annual Run for the Roses Fundraiser a Success
Community turnout was exceptional in support of the 10th Annual Run for the Roses Kentucky Derby Fundraiser Party at The Bus Stop Paddock & Grille in Birch Run on Saturday, May 2, 2026. A portion of this year's proceeds will support the purchase of safety equipment for the Birch Run Township Fire Department and the Taymouth Township Fire Department, and the provision of healing and wellness services offered by the ConnEQtions Equine Therapy Program. |
